การศึกษาเชิงวิเคราะห์นวนิยายเขมรเรื่องกุหลาบศรีโสภณ

Abstract

การค้นคว้าอิสระฉบับนี้เป็นการศึกษาวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบของนวนิยายเขมรเรื่อง “กุหลาบศรีโสภณ” แต่งโดย ยึม สำณาง ที่ได้รับพานรางวัล “พระสีหนุราช” อันดับสอง ประจำปี 1997 เป็นเรื่องราวที่สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความรักของหนุ่มสาวที่มาจากพื้นเพที่แตกต่างกัน แล้วมาอยู่ในครอบครัวเดียวกัน ทั้งสองต้องอดทนใช้ความดี ฝ่าฟันต่ออุปสรรค ที่ผู้ใหญ่เห็นว่าไม่เหมาะสมกัน การค้นคว้าอิสระฉบับนี้แบ่งออกเป็น 5 บท คือ บทที่ 1 กล่าวถึงความเป็นมาและความสำคัญของปัญหา วัตถุประสงค์ ขอบเขต ขั้นตอน ข้อตกลงและประโยชน์ที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ บทที่ 2 กล่าวถึงประวัติผู้ประพันธ์และเรื่องย่อ บทที่ 3 เป็นการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ของนวนิยาย บทที่ 4 ศึกษาภาพสะท้อนชีวิตคนเขมร บทที่ 5 เป็นบทสรุปผลการวิจัยและข้อเสนอแนะ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า นวนิยายเรื่องกุหลาบศรีโสภณ มีโครงเรื่องและแก่นเรื่องดี ผู้แต่งสร้างความขัดแย้งให้เนื้อเรื่องน่าติดตาม ใช้ถ้อยคำภาษาเข้าใจง่ายและมีความเหมาะสมกับตัวละคร ใช้กลวิธีการเล่าเรื่อง โดยผู้แต่งเป็นผู้เล่าเหตุการณ์ นวนิยายเรื่องนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นชีวิตคนเขมร ค่านิยมเรื่องความกตัญญู และความเชื่อเรื่องการทำนายโชคชะตา นวนิยายเรื่องนี้ให้ข้อคิดด้านความรักของคนวัยหนุ่มสาว ว่าความรักต้องมีความมั่นคง ซื่อสัตย์ต่อกัน และคู่รักควรปฏิบัติตนในครรลองที่ดี จึงจะผ่านพ้นอุปสรรคต่าง ๆ และได้อยู่ด้วยกันอย่างมีความสุข

This master’s report is a componential analysis of a Khmer novel entitled “Kolap Sereisophorn”, written by Yim Samnang, which won the second place in the Phra Sihanurach Award in 1997. The novel reflects life of a young couple, each from a different society then living in the same family. The couple have to resist and endure the parents’ disapproval of their relationship because they believe it is unfitting to their norms. This research is divided into five chapters. The first chapter states the significance of the problems, goals and objectives, scope of the study, process of the study and benefits. The second chapter includes the biography of the writer and the synopsis. The third chapter deals with an analytical study of the component factors, i.e. plot, theme, settings, characters, dialogues and styles. The fourth chapter is an analytical study of the Khmer living, customs and beliefs. The last chapter is the conclusion and recommendation. The result of this research can be summarized thus : “Kolap Sereisophorn” contains a good plot and interesting conflict theme by using a young couple’s disapproved relationship as the attention-getter. The writer uses dialogue which is easy to follow, yet appropriate for the characters. The writer uses the omniscient technique to reveal situations in this novel. The novel also reflects the Khmer living, customs, beliefs, and the societal norm of being grateful to parents. The novel also gives a perspective that a romantic relationship will flourish only if the couple are trustworthy and faithful, and only then they will overcome any unforeseen obstacle in their life.
