Abstract

เพลงเป็นองค์ประกอบสำคัญที่สุดของละครเพลง (Musical) เพลงทำหน้าที่ในการดำเนินเรื่องราวถ่ายทอดอารมณ์ของตัวละคร และดำเนินเนื้อเรื่องด้วย ทำให้ในปัจจุบันมีเพลงประกอบละครเพลงที่มีชื่อเสียงและถูกนำมาทำเป็นเพลงเดี่ยวจำนวนมาก เพลงหนึ่งที่มีชื่อเสียงและได้รับความนิยมนำมาเรียบเรียงให้แสดงหลายรูปแบบ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสำหรับการขับร้องเดี่ยวขับร้องประสานเสียง หรือเรียบเรียงสำหรับวงดนตรีต่าง ๆ คือเพลง Memory ประพันธ์โดย Andrew Lloyd Webber จากละครเพลงเรื่อง Cats บทความนี้นำเสนอเทคนิคการเรียบเรียงเสียงประสานบทเพลง Memory สำหรับบรรเลงด้วยวงซิมโฟนีออร์เคสตรา แนวคิดหลักในการเรียบเรียงคือการสร้างสรรค์เนื้อดนตรี (texture) และสีสันเพลง (tone color) จากเนื้อหาของ เนื้อเพลงโดยใช้เทคนิคต่าง ๆ เช่น การเลือกใช้เครื่องดนตรีที่มีความเหมาะสมในแต่ละท่อนของบทเพลง

There’s a lot of musicals that Many pieces from the musical theatre were very famous and have performed as solo pieces. “Memory” from “cats the musical” composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber is one of the most famous pieces that consists of many ways of arrangements, such as for vocal solo for choir or ensemble. This article presents an arrangement for a symphony orchestra. Creating texture and tone color of the music by using the content from the original composition and it’s lyrics were the main concepts of this arrangement. For example, choosing an instrument that is appropriate for each part of this song.
