สถาปัตยกรรมสกุลช่างวังหน้า สมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกมหาราช

Abstract

การวิจัยเรื่อง “ สถาปัตยกรรมสกุลช่างวังหน้า สมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกมหาราช” ได้ศึกษาจากพระอารามหลวงและอาคารที่เกี่ยวข้องกับศาสนา โดยเป็นสถาปัตยกรรมที่สมเด็จพระบวรราชเจ้ามหา- สุรสิงหนาท บูรณะปฎิสังขรณ์และทรงสร้าง ซึ่งได้ศึกษาจากวัดต่อไปนี้ 1. วัดมหาธาตุยุวราชรังสฤษดิ์ 2. วัดชนะสงคราม 3. วัดปทุมคงคา 4. วัดสุวรรณดาราราม 5. พระที่นั่งพุทไธสวรรย์ 6. หอพระมณเฑียรธรรม การศึกษาเพื่อให้ได้ถึงสกุลช่างวังหน้าโดย ได้ทำการศึกษาทั้งรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมและองค์ประกอบทางสถาปัตยกรรม เท่าที่จะหาข้อมูลได้ และเป็นงานสถาปัตยกรรมที่สร้างขึ้นในสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลกมหาราช ซึ่งสามารถจะสรุปได้ดังนี้ สถาปัตยกรรมของวังหน้ายังคงได้รับอิทธิพลจากศิลปของอยุธยา ซึ่งยังปรากฏในงานสถาปัตยกรรม อีกทั้งมีรูปแบบที่เหมือนกับที่นิยมสร้างในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์ตอนต้นที่เป็นแบบประเพณีแต่เดิมมา ในการศึกษายังพบว่า - สถาปัตยกรรมที่กล่าวมานี้มีการวางผัง โดยใช้ลักษณะแนวแกนคู่ ปรากฏเป็น 2 แนวขนานกัน คล้ายกับความตั้งใจในการวางผัง ได้แก่ วัดมหาธาตุยุวราชรังสฤษดิ์ , วัดปทุมคงคา - อาคารจะมีขนาดใหญ่ แบบสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้า มีการใช้เสาร่วมใน ได้แก่ พระอุโบสถวัดมหาธาตุยุวราชรังสฤษดิ์ ,พระวิหารวัดมหาธาตุยุวราชรังสฤษดิ์ , พระอุโบสถวัดชนะสงคราม - เครื่องลำยองจะมีสองลักษณะคือ แบบที่นิยมทั่วไปที่มักเรียกว่านาคสะดุ้ง และที่พิเศษในอาคารที่สมเด็จพระบวรราชเจ้ามหาสุรสิงหนาททรงบูรณะปฎิสังขรณ์ คือจะไม่มีนาคสะดุ้ง จะเป็นตัวไม้รวยยาวตลอดมาจากด้านบน - มีการใช้ใบเสมา สำหรับติดผนังพระอุโบสถ ได้แก่ วัดมหาธาตุยุวราชรังสฤษดิ์ และวัดชนะสงคราม - มีลักษณะของคันทวยที่สวยงาม เป็นเถากนกพันคันทวยไปตลอด ได้แก่ วัดมหาธาตุยุวราชรังสฤษดิ์ , วัดชนะสงคราม . วัดสุวรรณดาราราม , พระที่นั่งพุทไธสวรรย์ นอกจากนี้แล้วในงานสถาปัตยกรรมของสกุลช่างวังหน้า ยังมีส่วนใช้รูปแบบที่เหมือนกันกับงานโดยทั่วไปที่เกิดขึ้นในสมัยเดียวกัน เช่น รูปแบบอาคาร , เครื่องลำยอง , คันทวย ,หรือโครงสร้าง ฉะนั้น รูปแบบของสกุลช่างวังหน้าก็ยังคงยอมรับอิทธิพลทางศิลปกรรมอื่น ๆ อยู่ พร้อมกันนั้นก็จะมีรูปแบบระเบียนแบบแผนของตนเองไปด้วย

The thesis “The Architectural Style of Wang Na School in The Period of King Rama I’’ Studied from Alarm Luang and the buildings concerned with Bhuddist religion. These architectures were reformed and built by the Prince of the Palace to the Front Maha Surasinghanait. The information of this research is based on the following buildings 1. Wat Mahathart 2. Wat Chanasongkhram 3. Wat Patoomkongka 4. Wat Suwandararam 5. The Buddhaisawan Chapel 6. Horpramonteantam The information about the style of Wang Na Architecture is collecting from the study of the architectural styles and elements as many possible. It is likely to be built in the period of King Rama I The architectural style of Wang Na was influenced by Ayuthaya architectural styles which still can be seen. This style had become popular during the early period of Rattanakosin. - This study find out the architectural master plan was based on the parallel of axis which tended to lay out the plan such as Wat Mahathart and Wat Patoomkongka - The building is a big rectangular size, using the coperative pole. Such as Wat Mahathart temple , Wat Mahathart Vihara , Wat Chanasongklram temple - There are two types of the Nagas on the pediment, the popular one is the moving Nagas and the other is a long straight wood without the moring Nagas. The building which used this type was reformed by Prince Surasinghanart. - Having used the Boundary Markers on the wall of the temple, such as Wat Mahathart and Wat Chanasongkhram. - Having decorated a very beautiful suspention along the Nagas. This design can be seen at Wat Mahathrat, Wat Chanasongkhram , Wat suwandararam and the Buddhaisawan Chapel. Besides those mentioned above , there are some parts of using the same general styles, appearing at that time which can be seen in the building styles , the Nagas on the pediment , the decorative supports shaped like Nagas and the building structure. The architectural style of the Wang Na School is not only influenced by other architectural styles but also remained its own original styles.
