รูปทรงจากความเชื่อที่บิดเบือน

Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ศิลปะภายใต้หัวข้อ “รูปทรงจากความ เชื่อที่บิดเบือน” เป็นการศึกษาถึงรูปแบบความเชื่อที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปจากเดิม โดยถ่ายทอดผ่านรูปทรงเรือพระในประเพณีลากพระแสดงออกถึงเรื่องราวความเชื่อที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปในสังคมไทย ที่ดำเนินควบคู่กันไปทั้งวัฒนธรรมดั้งเดิม และวัฒนธรรมใหม่ที่เปลี่ยนไป แต่ด้วยความเคยชิน จึงทำให้คนในสังคมไม่สังเกตกัน โดยถ่ายทอดผลงานในแนวคิดเรื่องเทวดาตกสวรรค์ที่ต้องการจะทำทุกวิถีทางที่จะกลับคืนสู่สวรรค์ แม้จะต้องหลอกลวงตัวเองก็ตาม ลักษณะของผลงานที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นมาจากวัสดุเหลือใช้ต่าง ๆ มาประกอบกัน ทำให้เห็นถึงความขัดแย้งกันเองของรูปต่าง ๆ ที่นำมาใช้ในงาน คล้ายกับความขัดแย้งของสองวัฒนธรรมที่ดำเนินทับซ้อนกันอยู่ภายในสังคมไทย

Art Thesis entitled “Figure of fabricated beliefs” is study concernsthe changed beliefs. It conveys through the figures of tugboats that pull the Buddha images in ChakPhra Festival or Pulling the Buddha (image) , expressing the beliefs in Thai society that have been changed from the past, which both traditional culture and new culture are simultaneously operated. However, it won’t make people recognize those changes because of familiarity. The transmission of the fallen angel who tries to get back to the heaven, even cheating he himself, which is the art work from leftovers patching together, expresses the conflicts between them, similar to the conflict of traditional and new culture in Thai society that are overlapping, as well.
